- VISION+ - The cage’s high transparency and latch-free design allow full visibility into the cage. This feature is present in both Emerald Standard and Emerald Prime type cages.
- SMARTOP - is a self-hold mechanical feature that allows the lid to remain vertically positioned on the cage base during cage changing or procedures (Emerald Prime only). The SMARTOP can help to streamline cage changing, offers better ergonomics for the operators, and limits contact with work surface favoring aseptic conditions.
- IN-RICHMENT - The cage base (Prime version) features a raised corner to serve as enrichment, a rest or nesting area, and a way to promote exploring and exercise.
